Lactose Free Spicy Hot Chocolate

Spicy Hot Chocolate
Yeah, I got the creamiest spicy hot chocolate recipe for you. Just drop on your couch with a nice mug of spicy hot chocolate. Snuggle up underneath a blanket and start the Christmas movie marathon. You can add some almond biscotti or vanilla cookies on the side and you don’t even need to move anymore. There is no going back for more as one serving is quite filling. With an entire chocolate bar and some cashew butter… It’s extremely decadent. The cashew butter is a slight adaptation from the way we make hot chocolate in Curaçao. They always add a little bit of peanut butter which just gives it a different touch. But I made it paleo with cashew butter instead.
Tip!
You can just omit the chili for a milder but still delicious hot chocolate! Up to you.
Home Christmas Market
I’m still pissed there are no Christmas markets this year. And I know and understand why. But I’m still allowed to have emotions about the situation. So, there you have it. To soften the blow mainly for myself but also for your benefit we came up with the Christmas market at home idea. With recipes that you can easily make at home. And reminiscent of all the Christmas market specials. We already have paleo churros, apple beignet (always have trouble pronouncing that). But also, fennel and onion flammkuchen to create the perfect Christmas market treats. And on the bright side you don’t have to face the cold weather outside to enjoy these.

Tip 2!
Use the cinnamon stick to stir the hot chocolate and siphon the chocolate out of the cinnamon stick. You get a nice cinnamon hit.
