Cauliflower Steak with BBQ Sauce

Have you ever thought about making your own BBQ Sauce? It really isn’t that difficult and you can literally pour it onto anything. Today I made a cauliflower steak with BBQ sauce. Sometimes it’s nice to take a little break from meat and only have veggies and this cauliflower steak is the perfect solution for a veggie day.
Back to the BBQ sauce, after your first batch I swear you won’t go back to any store-bought BBQ sauce that contain all the ingredients you can’t control. Once you have the basic down you can play around with the flavors, by adding a little smokiness with smoked paprika powder, but there are countless other ingredients you can play around with to suit your needs. The beauty of this recipe is that you will have enough to share a jar or two with some friends and or family. Unlike my last few recipes that were more on the spicy side this is much milder and should you want it spicier you can add more chili, but the flavors at the forefront are tanginess with a slight undertone of sweetness.
