Not everybody has a big kitchen with a spacious cupboard or pantry. Small spaces have to be used very practically and creatively. You have to decide which kitchen tools are the most important.
A steamer pan is very useful but easy to substitute.
A classic steamer pan:
- Use a strainer!
You need a metal strainer, a pot and a lid. Fill 200 ml water and 4 g salt into the pan. Put the strainer into the pot together with the veggies and cover with a lid. Boil the water and steam your veggies.
2. Use a small bowl and a plate!
You need a small bowl, a plate, a pot and a lid. Put the small bowl upside down into the pan and pour enoughwater so as not to cover the small plate. Place the plate with the veggies on top and cover with a lid. Boil the water and steam the veggies.
